Q1 2021 Report: Top Dance Games on iOS in Australia

In the first quarter of 2021, dance game enthusiasts in Australia showed varying levels of engagement with the top iOS dance games. According to data from Sensor Tower, here's how the games performed.

Just Dance Now by Ubisoft, saw its revenue trend downwards from nearly $2K at the beginning of the quarter to around $1K in early February, before climbing to over $2K by the end of March. Downloads peaked at over 3K in the last week of March, with weekly active users reaching over 11K in the same period after a dip in mid-March.

Coco Play's JoJo Siwa - Live to Dance experienced a significant revenue spike in early March, reaching over $800, contrasting with the rest of the quarter where revenue hovered around low double digits. Downloads and weekly active users generally declined throughout the quarter, with downloads just above 100 and active users dropping to the low 300s by the end of March.

Another Coco Play title, Ice Skating Ballerina, showed a mid-quarter revenue bump to just over $200, while downloads saw a slight increase to over 200 in the last week of March. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, with a slight end-of-quarter increase to over 5K.

Dance Clash: Ballet vs Hip Hop had modest revenue throughout the quarter, peaking at $199 at the start and ending at $81. Downloads saw a dip to a low of 161 in late February, but ended the quarter on a slight uptick to over 300. Weekly active users decreased to just over 1.5K by the end of March.

Lastly, Acrobat Star Show saw its revenue oscillate, finishing the quarter stronger at $130. Downloads surged to over 600 in the last week of March, and weekly active users mirrored this trend, jumping to over 600 in the same period.
